Our school provides educational programs for students aged between 3–18 years with an intellectual impairment. A large percentage of our school population also have additional disabilities, including autism, hearing, vision and physical impairments.
The school caters for a growing population. These students come from a designated geographical area with the majority of students residing in Sunnybank, Sunnybank Hills, Runcorn, Robertson, Nathan, Moorooka, Rocklea, Salisbury, Acacia Ridge and Coopers Plains.
To be enrolled in our school, students must:
Be diagnosed with an intellectual impairment; and
Live within the school's catchment area (i.e. that Sunnybank Special School is the closest special school to their home).
